What is an insomniac? - how to figure out if you are an 'insomniac'
I often get asked about being an insomniac, naturally as I work with people who struggle with long-term insomnia. So in today’s video, I’ll share what the insomniac definition is and what I think about perhaps labelling yourself as an insomniac.
Being an insomniac is something that is a very common self-diagnosis in today’s world.
But what’s really important and I mention this all the time, is that you don’t pick up a label for self-diagnosis based on the inappropriate definition of being an insomniac.
As I explain this in today’s video first we need to establish the difference between short-term insomnia and long-term insomnia so that it can give you a much better understanding of what is possible when you look at overcoming your sleep problems.
One sleep problem might look the same as the other but it doesn’t mean that it meets the requirements of being an insomniac. How to know if you have insomnia comes down to a few things that you have to bear in mind. I’ll explain these in today’s video so it will help you to seek the appropriate insomnia treatment.
This will give you the opportunity to look at how to improve your sleep and even overcome your long-term insomnia or other sleep problems.
But as always, remember that overcoming insomnia and long-term sleep problems is completely possible.
