There is no such thing as 'quick', 'easy' and 'effortless' but...

Of course, you can also learn those practical ways that you can overcome your sleep problems and insomnia too.

Since 2014, I have published many articles and videos to help you get to know your sleep better and overcome sleep problems and even insomnia. Some of the videos are recorded at previous talks or simply answering a question from my audience on a particular topic.

On this page, you will find the most recently published resource.

The most unhelpful and detrimental habit for long-term insomnia

The most unhelpful and detrimental habit for long-term insomnia

This mindset is one that I see most often in my practice. I’m very familiar with it because I used to use this habit too but it actually stopped me from being able to improve my sleep.

When you have poor sleep habits or trying to learn how to change sleep habits, this is often the first thing that you do. Bad sleep habits can develop just because of the try mindset or the trying mindset and I’ve seen this so many times over the years of working with people to help them overcome insomnia or overcome sleep problems.

Sleep better actually requires that you stop 'trying' too hard. The more effort and attention you put into research on this, to more your mind focuses on just this part of your life, leaving you with not much else. Simple sleep hygiene tips or tips on how to get better sleep are often very general and don’t actually figure out how to improve your sleep.

In today’s video, I walk you through a couple of steps you can take instead. These steps are all ones I use in my sleep coating practice. They are much more effective than trying random and very general sleep tips.
