Links between mental health and sleep problems - 2 of 7 emotional swings
Those emotions you feel at the end of the day...
I continue to talk about those links to bring more awareness that it's okay to share and seek help with those emotions that bring you down at the end of the day or even at the very beginning of the day as you get ready for the day.
We often hear that women are more 'emotional' but I don't think that is really that true.
I think it's more about sharing those struggles with emotions than about whether we have them or we struggle with them.
Everyone struggles with their emotions sometimes!
The signs of mental illness or deteriorating mental health are when you might experience uncontrollable or sudden changes or mood swings from sadness (or similar) to all the way to another end to happy (or similar).
Take a moment this evening and think about what feelings are swirling around in your body, maybe even trapped in that causes you to experience sleep problems.
Then talk to someone about them before going to bed like that and struggling to get to sleep.
If you need help with insomnia or other sleep problems, get in touch so I can help you overcome them easier.
