How to train your mind to stop problem solving at night - to overcome your chronic insomnia
If you’re waking up in the middle of the night problem solving and then struggling to get back to sleep again, then this video is for you.
I often get asked about this topic and especially how to stop problem solving at night, so you can sleep well and wake up refreshed. Problem solving is just one of the many reasons why you’re waking up during the night. Racing mind at night and middle of the night problem solving comes up in my work all the time.
It’s completely possible for you to get your mind to stop problem solving and let you get back to sleep easily. As with all my work, of course, this takes time and practicing things that I mention in this video.
What I find most common, is that problem solving is part of who you are as a human being, maybe it’s because of the type of work you do, or it’s something that you’ve always been good at. So learning to let go of problems at night is a skill that you’ll need to develop. But a word of warning, if you can’t stop problem solving at night, this will take time and work! It’s not an overnight quick fix or hack, it’s about training your mind to surrender to sleep and let go of the day.
So let’s go through the practical steps that will help you finally sleep well during the night again.
