In today’s video, let’s talk about how long it actually takes to overcome long-term insomnia and sleep problems.
Most people think that overcoming insomnia is more about how quickly you can put in place a few things that can get you back to ‘normal’ sleep. But the reality of long-term struggles is that they become more complex over time.
To be able to help you figure out how long it may take you, first we have to set the foundations for what long-term insomnia is first. This is especially important if you’re putting in place insomnia self help without any support from a trained professional.
Once you figured out the dynamics of your sleep problems or insomnia, we can get to work on putting in place what you need to sleep well consistently again. Treating insomnia naturally is very possible but it’s about practically educating yourself as well as putting the work and the effort into whatever you choose to put in place.
The nature of long-term sleep problems or insomnia struggles is that if you don’t figure out what helps you sleep better, you’ll most likely use things that have little, no or inconsistent results.
The best way to treat insomnia is to find what works for you, with your lifestyle, with your personality traits, with your sleep dynamics. That way you’ll never struggle with sleep again.
Once you figured out what helps you sleep better, it’s time to work on leaving behind the things that don’t help or hasn’t proven themselves. Cleaning out your routines is almost the same as cleaning out your wardrobe, once you make space, opportunity opens up to really only do what works and helps you to feel good.
I’m always curios to hear how you are progressing so feel free to let me know.
