Last we talked about the 3 types of sleep assessments that I use in my practice to treat clients who struggle with long-term insomnia or sleep problems. 

In today’s video, we’ll cover The Sleep Deep Method ® Sleep Assessment tool which is an online sleep assessment in a bit more detail. The Sleep Deep Method ® Sleep Assessment is a free sleep assessment you can complete via my website. 

Assessing insomnia and sleep problems online can be a bit of a hit-and-miss. I’ve seen very general questions through an online sleep assessment leaving even me wondering what the purpose of that was. The best way to really make an online sleep assessment for sleep effective is to ask a number of specific and detailed enough questions that look at more recent sleep. 

There is not much point in looking at how you step last year, or even last month if the sleep problems or insomnia have been around long-term. Whilst I take that into account with my clients, it’s not always helpful and as things change over a period of time we really want to start with the most recent few weeks. 

We really want to assess and understand the more recent sleep dynamics, sleep strengths and weaknesses through a sleep assessment or insomnia assessment to be able to build a practical plan that will help you overcome your sleep problems or insomnia or improve your sleep.

During The Sleep Deep Method® Sleep Assessment, we go through various questions to help you understand how to assess sleep quality and how to assess sleep patterns through. These will then give you a much better picture of where you are when it comes to what is possible to achieve. This type of sleep assessment questionnaire or online sleep assessment gives you the best chance to learn how to overcome even chronic insomnia naturally.

Once you’ve completed The Sleep Deep Method ® Sleep Assessment, you’ll be e-mailed your personalised results. Through this you can start focusing on the area that you struggle with the most, rather than using random and way too general tips, advice or hacks that will never be effective or deliver inconsistent results.
