There is no such thing as 'quick', 'easy' and 'effortless' but...

Of course, you can also learn those practical ways that you can overcome your sleep problems and insomnia too.

Since 2014, I have published many articles and videos to help you get to know your sleep better and overcome sleep problems and even insomnia. Some of the videos are recorded at previous talks or simply answering a question from my audience on a particular topic.

On this page, you will find the most recently published resource.

What’s holding you back from overcoming chronic insomnia for good in your 40s and 50s

What’s holding you back from overcoming chronic insomnia for good in your 40s and 50s

Once you figure out exactly what helps insomnia and what prevents insomnia,  you can be in a better place to really figure out the secrets your own sleep is showing you already. I'll share with you the two most important questions that you’ve got to be able to answer in a practical way with some examples from my sleep coaching client work.

Learning how to prevent insomnia isn’t about anyone else’s intellectual opinion. It is however about learning what helps and what prevents you from sleeping well at night.

You’ve probably already heard about keeping a sleep diary or even a sleep journal. But what matters is that you know how to extract the practical information from what your sleep is already showing you. Keeping a sleep diary is only really helpful is you’re able to learn from the information you gather so you can make the appropriate changes that will support you with putting the practical things in place to sleep better.

Most people just gather ‘data’ about their sleep. But ‘data’ isn’t the same as practical ‘intelligence’ that gives you the clues about what helps your insomnia and what prevents it. The ‘intelligence’ is really about asking these two most important questions and finding answers that show you what works and what doesn’t.

It’s never going to be about this general idea of what may or may not work. You’ve got to look at your own sleep dynamics rather than a general idea of sleep.

Almost all of the clients I end up working with struggles with these two questions. Of course they do, because just like you, if you knew the answers you would already put in place what you need and you wouldn’t struggle any longer.

Of course, if you have any questions about today’s topic or how to keep a sleep diary in an effective way, feel free to reach out.
