Insomnia Client Success Story | How to Overcome Insomnia Through Developing Sleep Skills for Life - EQ Brains Masterclass
I had the pleasure of sitting down with Melissa, a former client, and Monica from EQ Brains, who kindly hosted this discussion.
Together, we explored what it really takes to move from years of struggling with sleep to developing the confidence and tools to overcome insomnia naturally and enjoy consistent, great quality rest.
Melissa’s journey is an inspiring insomnia success story. When we first met, she was exhausted and frustrated. Like many others, she had tried every tip and piece of advice she could find online. Some nights were better than others, but her sleep was unpredictable and never fully restful. Through our work together, she learned how to train herself to sleep again by understanding her body, mind, and personality, and putting practical steps in place that truly worked for her.
In this masterclass, we go behind the scenes of that process. We walk through the seven-step sleep coaching process that I use to help clients fully overcome long-term sleep problems and insomnia. This process is designed to move you from years of frustration and uncertainty to a place of calm confidence where sleep becomes natural again. It’s a practical framework that takes you from frustration to calm, confident nights where sleep feels natural again.
We start with understanding your sleep and what’s really happening. Then we explore how your personality traits and daily habits influence your nights before building on the sleep basics that truly make a difference.
From there, we look at how to fall asleep more easily, sleep through the night, and wake feeling refreshed. Finally, we focus on managing your energy during the day, because great sleep always starts with how you live your days.
When you bring all seven steps together, you develop the confidence and consistency that define Sleep Skills for Life. This process doesn’t just help you sleep better now; it gives you the ability to maintain great sleep for years to come.
Towards the end of the masterclass, we also answered questions from the audience about morning fatigue and waking up with guilt or racing thoughts. These discussions opened up some really practical ideas about how sleep coaching can help professionals who are constantly balancing productivity, performance, and wellbeing.
If you’ve been searching for insomnia help or you’ve tried everything and still don’t sleep well, this conversation will give you a fresh perspective. It shows that long-term insomnia is completely possible to overcome.
I hope this video encourages you to keep work on overcoming your insomnia and sleep struggles.
