There is no such thing as 'quick', 'easy' and 'effortless' but...

Of course, you can also learn those practical ways that you can overcome your sleep problems and insomnia too.

Since 2014, I have published many articles and videos to help you get to know your sleep better and overcome sleep problems and even insomnia. Some of the videos are recorded at previous talks or simply answering a question from my audience on a particular topic.

On this page, you will find the most recently published resource.

Reasons sleep perfection doesn’t help to treat chronic insomnia

3 Reasons sleep perfection doesn’t help to treat chronic insomnia

What is perfect sleep?

How to sleep perfectly at night?

I have heard these questions in different ways over the years of working with clients who wanted to overcome their insomnia. But the truth is that asking and even aiming for sleep perfection often creates the opposite result.

This is why I always ask you don’t aim for perfect sleep.

Sleep perfection causes a lot of disappointment when things aren’t going the way you might have expected. But this doesn’t mean that you can’t develop great quality consistent sleep for many years to come.

These 3 reasons sleep perfection doesn’t help, will then support you to actually be more proactive and more relaxed about your plans to overcome and treat your chronic insomnia or long-term sleep problems. I’ve seen how these help my clients have a better outcome as well.

Even I never aim for perfection when it comes to sleep because I know sleep changes all the time, depending on what I might have going on during the day, just like you.

Great quality sleep doesn’t mean it’s perfect sleep. Even when sleep isn’t perfect, you can learn a lot about what helped and what hindered your sleep at night.

This way you don’t end up too focused on perfection over sleep and more focused on being relaxed about your sleep situation.

I know that this is easier said than done! But I’d encourage you to rethink this and shift your thinking as well.
