Putting your feet up but still wearing your 'work shoes'

Putting your feet up but still wearing your 'work shoes' doesn't mean that you're relaxing.
Yes, I know that work-life can be challenging, you have important decisions to make each and every day. I know that stressful situations can be part of your life and even mine.
But when you put your feet up and relax, I invite you to also take those 'work shoes' off too.
Over the years, I spoken to so many people about sleep and how they can overcome their sleep problems.
Most of the time it starts with you really giving yourself permission to relax... rreellaaxx... rrreeelllaaaxxx...
That's the point where you would take a deep breath and let it all out.
Learning how to relax might sound like a simple thing to do, but not if you've been running 100 miles an hour for days, months, years, or even decades. Even breathing out once or twice doesn't take the tension and stress out of your body quickly enough.
Your body isn't used to it, so when you put your head onto the pillow at night, your body doesn't know what to do with all that stillness and silence that is supposed to be used for sleep.
What will you do this weekend to really relax and recharge?
I mean relax properly rather than cram your weekend with things to do...
Enjoy your weekend
