How to fall asleep easily when your partner wakes you up - Sleep Coach Q&A
More recently I have shared a few things about sleep divorce, and couples sleeping together in the same bed. There are definitely more things to bear in mind when we look at someone who struggles to sleep together in the same bed with someone else.
Insomnia in a couple dynamic can be a very difficult situation. Intimacy and that sense of closeness when you sleep separately is something that is impacted quite a bit. It raises a lot of frustration, and disappointment and often leads to other problems in a couple's life.
Sleep divorce is when couples sleep in separate rooms, so in today's example, I’ll share with you an answer I gave to a client in my Sleep Skills for Life Programme on how to fall back to sleep after her partner wakes her up. And this example, they already started sleeping together in the same room after a period of sleep divorce.
Learning how to sleep together as a couple will naturally bring various situations depending on the couple's dynamic. But as a sleep coach, I've seen so many great examples of clients learning to sleep together again in the same bed and say goodbye to their insomnia or sleep problems.
It is definitely one of the most rewarding parts of my work to see how much better everything gets when you're able to sleep well no matter what the situation is.
