It's like you become a different person through sleep deprivation and exhaustion thinking something must be 'wrong with me' or 'I'm broken somehow'. At least, this is how it felt to me not knowing how and why over a period of time my sleep got worse and worse even though I seem to be doing all the right things to improve the situation.

It can be a very confusing time when you're putting all the effort into finding answers, researching solutions, and investing in products, services and maybe even gadgets to help you finally sleep well again. But by now we both know, you're reading this because no one of those things has delivered long-term and consistent results when it came to sleeping well at night. All the 'trying' and no reliable results, what a waste of time and resources it can be.

Naturally great sleep every night doesn't require external 'things'. It's about teaching and training your body and your mind to create sleep from the ground up in a proactive way. That is what learning and integrating practical, effective and personalised tools, techniques and exercises will do, it takes the guesswork out and helps you to know exactly what it takes to sleep naturally. Over time these become second nature, and you'll soon leave behind the doubts and the frustrations about what tonight might be like and just sleep well.

Overcoming sleep problems and insomnia doesn't have to be as complicated as some online resources make it out to be.

Why work with me as your sleep coach?

I've been working with clients since 2014, even before sleep coaching for adults became popular. The more I learned about sleep through various scientific and more holistic disciplines, the more I was able to help clients who struggled with more complex and long-term sleep problems or insomnia.

The extent of my one-to-one sleep coaching work is best explained through my client testimonials. Every client I worked with through my one-to-one work had a different combination of sleep issues and needed tailor-made, personalised and practical approaches.

But let's go through what you can expect from working with me as your sleep coach.

The first step in working with me is to arrange a complimentary assessment session. I don't take clients on without this, simply because we need to ensure that the type of sleep problems or insomnia you're experiencing is best treated through the type of work that I offer. If we're not the right fit, I will let you know and provide you with some guidance on what to do next.

During our first sleep coaching session, we'll work through the foundations of our sleep coaching and discuss what you'd like to achieve by the end of our work. I call these tangible sleep goals. These are measurable outcomes that help us make sure we're addressing and putting in place the right things, focusing on how you define great quality sleep so we can reach this by the end of our work.

The rest of the sleep coaching sessions are planned, designed and fully tailored to you as a human being. This is what ensures that you learn sleep skills that will continue helping you to enjoy great quality sleep for years.

With change comes transformation, but naturally also challenges. This is why I'm here to guide you through everything it takes to sleep well naturally again as well as support you between our sleep coaching sessions.

You and I will work together as a team therefore I will need you to be open to new ways, and have your full commitment to improving your sleep and overcoming your sleep issues. Our time is an open environment where you can be yourself and get support for what you are truly struggling with. I am here for you every step of the way to keep you moving forwards.

I put my full commitment into the sleep coaching work I offer, all that I learnt over the last 10 years, practical tools, proven techniques, and my full support to work on the results that we agree on.

What results can you expect from one-to-one sleep coaching?

This is the most common question I get asked when speaking to potential clients.

Of course, this depends on the complexity of the sleep problems you're facing, any pre-existing medical conditions we have to take into account, the length of time you've had sleep problems and the amount of work and effort you're willing to put into our sleep coaching work.

Some of my past clients relied on sleep medication and wanted to stop taking those regularly, some clients have stressful daytime occupations, some were faced with regular international travel, some developed sleep-related anxiety over the years, and some simply never slept well since their childhood. Some clients had a combination of these and the list goes on.

How long do you need sleep coaching for?

Sleep coaching is not therapy or counselling.

Each client is an individual therefore the length of time it takes to overcome sleep problems and insomnia depends on the complexity of the current situation. My aim is to help you put in place everything you need to sleep well consistently through practical sleep skills, therefore our coaching relationship focuses on creating results that last.

Sometimes this takes 3 months, sometimes 6 months, but ultimately it doesn't have to take longer than that.

In some cases clients decide to continue working with me and providing we have things to work on to get you to your desired results, I'm happy to support you.

What is the cost of one-to-one sleep coaching?

My one-to-one sleep coaching is by invitation only. Once I've assesses the extent of your sleep problems and am certain that I'm able to assist you, I let you know how you can start working with me as your sleep coach including the costs of the personalised sleep coaching programme.

I don't offer one-off sleep coaching sessions as they are not effective in providing you with a structured plan that creates long-term results.

As I take on a limited amount of one-to-one clients, my availability varies and is simply on a first come first served basis. At busier times, you're also able to join my waiting list, securing your sleep coaching place to start as soon as possible.
